WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNING
Check-in process:
Highway 34 meets on the second floor of the Family Center. Parents may walk with their child up the stairs at either end of the building. Third and fourth grade students will check in at one of the three stations and then head into their designated rooms (3rd grade boys, 3rd grade girls, 4th grade boys or 4th grade girls). During this time, the kids get a chance to interact with the other kids from their small group as well as their small group coaches and student leaders. Celebrations are held at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am services.
Large Group Worship:
During large group time, each child will get a chance to experience Christ through music and the teaching of God's Word. The teaching time will focus on one truth from the Bible and give an action step that will help the child apply this truth to their everyday lives. Following worship time, the children will head back to their rooms, with their coaches, to have a small group experience.
Small Group Time:
The small group time is a vital part of your children’s Sunday morning experience. Small groups are designed to place children from the same city together to have a place where they can belong and be known and valued. During the small group time, the coaches will ask questions and lead hands-on activities which help to reinforce the teaching of the day.
